 Chickadee Cabin Watch for new photos of upgrades to cabin! Pine cabin filled with colourful artwork, cozy quilts, enclosed screen porch with gas bbq, fully equipped kitchenette, full 3-pc bath.. Relaxed atmosphere in the woods, surrounded by wildflowers, birds and nature. Very private. Cabin sleeps up to 4 people (one double bed and a sofa bed with memory foam mattress). Enjoy the outdoor firepit while you sit under the stars. The cabin has a full sized refrigerator, large toaster oven (you can cook a pizza or whole chicken in it) and other new additions and a new back deck built spring 2010. Carl has been working on tiling a backsplash and the bathroom floor this spring! He also got half the living floor tiled...more to follow in spring. Note: We love our cabin! And we have many return renters who also love Chickadee cabin. It is quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature, cozy and filled with art and comfort. It is an eco friendly building. But it is NOT a fancy resort . Wifi and large TV provide your entertainment, and a campfire for nights when the black skies are filled with stars. Chickadee cabin is a place to escape the noise of the city, to experience nature and sitting on a deck surrounded by rocks and trees and wildlife. Please respect this and understand we do not pretend to be a resort or fancy retreat. But we can offer you the most beautiful nature you will ever experience here on the Bruce Peninsula! We do not supply bedding, pillows or towels. 
Located just north of Lion's Head - 4 km from Georgian Bay. Lion's Head has a grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, Royal Bank, hospital, gifts shops and restaurants. National Park is 20 minutes north of us. We are halfway between Wiarton and Tobermory, just off Highway #6 so convenient to the whole peninsula. See map here.
